Original Rock'n'Road Sign – Love In Vain

Angebot£300.00

Our first Blues legends sign release pays tribute to the story of Robert Johnson’s 1930’s “Crossroads” meeting with the devil (or African spirit Papa Legba) where he is rumoured to have traded his soul in exchange for his amazing musical talent. The mythical meeting allegedly took place at the junction of US Highway 61 and US Highway 49 in Clarksdale, Mississippi as depicted on the sign. We have added a favourite Robert Johnson track “Love In Vain” (famously covered by The Rolling Stones) which was the flip of the ’Preachin Blues (Up Jumped The Devil)’ 78 rpm release from 1939. Based on an original UK ‘IN’ sign measuring a compact 450mm wide and 230mm high with the original rails on the rear for easy wall hanging, Would grace any garage, juke joint, blues bar, man cave or she shed.

Only available for UK shipping.
