Designed by Steve Mitchell of 57 Design, the inaugural design of the ‘Loved not Lost’ Venue Series - a brand new collection created in association with Music Venue Trust and supporting Grassroots Music Venues - celebrates one of the UK’s most loved venues and landmarks, Alexandra Palace in North London. These designs showcase almost 1000 of musicians, bands and DJ’s that have graced the stages of Alexandra Palace over a century and half.

The RAINBOW RETROSPECTIVE ART PRINTS collection pays homage to this truly iconic London music venue that reigned between 1971 and 1981 and documents some of the legendary performances hosted at the venue over that decade.

This poster documents some of the legendary Reggae bands hosted at The Rainbow Theatre including Aswad, Big Youth, Black Slate, Black Uhuru, Bob Marley & The Wailers, Burning Spear, The Cimarons, Culture, Dennis Brown, Desmond Dekker & The Aces, Dillinger, Gregory Isaacs, Inner Circle, Jimmy Cliff, Keith Hudson, Ken Boothe, Matumbi, Misty in Roots, Peter Tosh, The Pioneers, Prince Far I, Sly & Robbie, Steel Pulse, Tapper Zukie, Third World and Toots & The Maytals.

This illustration has been created by Steve Mitchell of 57 Design and the limited edition prints are signed, stamped and numbered and is  available in two sizes, A3 (29.7cm x 42cm) and B2 (50cm x 70cm).

The poster is printed using traditionally litho offset onto a 190gsm matt uncoated archival long life certified paper (ISO 9706)
