Prix de vente£60.00

Our limited edition run of just of 25, signed and numbered 70cm x 50cm prints feature a digitised image of our original UK ‘IN’ sign. Paying tribute to the story of Robert Johnson’s 1930’s “Crossroads” meeting with the devil (or African spirit Papa Legba) where he is rumoured to have traded his soul in exchange for his amazing musical talent. The mythical meeting allegedly took place at the junction of US Highway 61 and US Highway 49 in Clarksdale, Mississippi as depicted on the sign. We have added a favourite Robert Johnson track “Love In Vain” (famously covered by The Rolling Stones) which was the flip of the’Preachin’ Blues (Up Jumped The Devil) 78 rpm posthumous release from 1939.
